Catholic social action weekend: Friday 10thto Monday 13th May in Lincoln:
Friday 10th May: 7-9pm at St. Peter & St.Paul, 2A Skellingthorpe Rd. LN6 7RB - A meeting of the new Justice & Peace / Catholic Social Action Group. Further details from Mary Wilford, 01522 800114 or mwilford@virginmedia.com.
Saturday 11th May:11am to 3pm, in St. Hugh’s Hall  - Catholic Voices Workshop (following 10am Mass at St. Hugh’s).  Catholics are often challenged about their faith and struggle to find the right response, especially when the more sensitive issues are raised.  Georgia Clarke, from Catholic Voices, will talk about how to communicate our Faith in a positive way.  The cost is £10 including lunch.  Please book a place via Helen Townsend, helen@sthughslincoln.org.ukor 07963 169935.
No meeting on 12 May but we are encouraged to think and pray about supporting the work of NOMAD / YMCA in Lincoln, particularly the cost of building the new Day Centre.
Monday 13th May:7.30 to 9 pm - Catholics are invited to the Active Faith Network meeting and to consider joining one of the six subgroups dealing with Homelessness, Inclusion, Debt, Food Poverty, Health & Well-Being and Children & Young People.  The meeting is in Birchwood Library, Larchwood Crescent, LN6 0NA, hosted by Ignite Church and GLAFN.
Prayers for fellow parishioners: When you are away from St Gregory’s and you call in to a church for Mass or for private prayer, please remember to pray for our parish community. It would be lovely if you could take a photo of the church you visit and pass it on to Peter for inclusion on the parish website. We shall be able to build a picture gallery of churches throughout the world where we have prayed for each other. We have already made a start with photos of churches in Norway, France, USA as well as UK. These can be viewed on the website in the “Gallery”.
Hearing Loop: For those with hearing aids, please switch your aid to the T setting to hear direct from the microphones.
After Mass: Please come and join us in the Social Centre for a cup of tea/coffee/soft drink and a chat. If you are a newcomer or a visitor you are particularly welcome.
