Padley Pilgrimage: The annual Hallam and Nottingham Interdiocesan pilgrimage in honour of the Padley martyrs, Blessed Robert Ludlam and Blessed Nicholas Garlick takes place on Sunday 15th July 2018, assembling at Grindleford Station at 3p.m. for the Rosary Procession, followed by Mass celebrated by Bishop Patrick. Day for Life: this is the day in the Church’s year dedicated to raising awareness about the meaning and value of human life at every stage and in every condition. The Church teaches that life is to be nurtured from conception to natural death. Today (17thJune) there will be a second collection,the proceeds of which assist the work of the Anscombe Bioethics Centre and other life-related activities supported by the Church. Parish Retreat: This took place on Saturday 9thJune at the Rosminian Centre. Please feed any ideas or views about the retreat to Peter, including whether you think that this should be an annual event.
