Father Clement Orango
On Monday September 14 2015, Father Clement Orango assumed responsibility for our parish and that of the Divine Infant of Prague in Syston. Father Clement came to us from the parish of the Sacred Heart and St Gilbert in Bourne (Lincolnshire) where he had been Parish Priest for eight years.
Father Clement was officially inducted as our Parish Priest at the 9.00 Mass on Sunday 29th November 2015. The ceremony was presided over by Bishop Patrick McKinney's delegate, Monsignor Thomas McGovern, assisted by former Parish Priests of St. Gregory's Parish, Monsignor David Forde and Father Anthony Pateman. Pictures can be viewed here.
Father Clement has written of his first impressions since moving into Leicestershire and these can be read here. We offer him a heartfelt "Jambo".
Father Clement's first Christmas message can be read here.
