Every year at the beginning of December, there is a Christmas Tree Festival in the church of the Holy Trinity in Barrow upon Soar. This year there were offerings from eighty different groups, associations and businesses that are active in the village. We are grateful to Kathryn Timmons and Joan ap Thomas for decorating a tree entitled "What does Christmas mean to you?" on behalf of the Catholic Community of Barrow. Although we no longer have a church of our own in the village, we are indebted to Father John who has continued the tradition whereby Mass is said every Wednesday at the Bishop Beveridge Club at 7.00pm. This is not just for the residents of Barrow - everyone is of course welcome to attend.
