Christmas Shoebox Appeal

The Christmas Shoebox appeal was masterminded by Michelle Cafferky who reports as follows:
Thanks to the generosity of parishioners, whether it be by filling the shoeboxes with gifts or donating money towards shipping we have dropped off the following boxes filled with beautiful Christmas gifts:
2 boxes x 2-4 year old girls
1 box x 2-4 year old boy
4 boxes x 5-9 year old girls
3 boxes x 5-9 year old boys
2 boxes x 10-14 years old girls
2 boxes x 10-14 year old boys
This also included £35 generously donated by members of the parish towards shipping.
These have all been delivered to Barrow Conservative Club (our official local drop-off) all ready to be sent to Santa.
Thank you all again. It means a lot to me and I know it will make some children very, very happy somewhere under-privileged in the world.
