Barrow Christmas Tree Festival
Every year, as part of the Barrow Christmas Fayre, there is a wonderful exhibition of Christmas trees decorated by organisations and businesses in the village. These are on show for four days in Holy Trinity Church and once again Kathryn Timmons produced an imaginatively decorated tree on behalf of the Barrow Catholic community. There used to be a Catholic Church in Barrow (the small stained glass figure at the bottom of this page is of St Alban who was the patron of the church) and every Wednesday evening Mass is celebrated at the Bishop Beveridge club, greatly appreciated by the Catholic community in the village.
